Abstract:
Last week's College Newspaper Convention in San Diego provided me with plenty of new ideas to enhance my ad sales, as well as some great local brews to sample. The area is home to many microbrews which are always a better option than a 30 rack of Busch. In California the cheap beer of choice for many seemed to be Tecate Cervesa....

It seems you only patronized a place that serves Pale Ales. Each of the breweries that you mentioned craft many more beers than the very few you tried. Ballast Point makes a Sea Monster Stout which is delicious. Judging San Diego beer by two Pale Ales and two IPAs is a bit of a lackluster beer trip, especially when you're get those beers diminished in flavor from being served in a frosted mug (instead of a proper serving temperature). Next time you come to town, go to a beer bar that will blow your mind...

I guarantee your next trip will be much more satisfying and eye opening. :)
