Gender Bender: Who Co-Exists Better With Their Roomates?

Female Perspective
Who lives with their roommate better, a guy or a girl? This is a difficult one, because with girls there tends to be more drama if there is problem, but I have known a lot of guys to have drama too. Overall I think that guys probably co-exist better just for the plain fact that girls tend to get a lot closer than guys do and that creates some problems.
Firstly, with girls, roommates either get along great or do not at all. When they do get along great and there is a conflict, it just makes things ten times worse. With guys, they are not that close to begin with so a conflict does not do as much damage as a girl's does. Not to mention that guys tend to be more laid back, not taking everything everyone does to heart, which is a problem that many girls have, myself included.
Another potential conflict is that girls tend to have a lot more stuff then guys, so two girls living with together is going to tend to create some conflict, even if it is something as little as taking up your living space. Guys tend not to have this problem as much; they have their minimal living space with their minimal stuff.
Finally, girls are usually really nosy about what their roommate is up to. This in itself can create a conflict. Guys really could care less what their roommate is up to. One girl is a complex creature. Put more than one girl in a room and you have even more complexity, which is why I say guys co-exist better. Their complexity is low: I mean food, sex, sleep, the occasional video game; what else do you need to know about a guy's needs and wants? This probably makes their co-existence with one another much easier, because on a broad scale they all want and like the same types of things.

Of course, men get along better with their roommates. Women are overly emotional and cranky. When something does not go their way they like to hold grudges, and tend to be overly picky about cleaning apartments/dorm rooms.
