Are you sick, twisted, demented, and homicidal? Do you enjoy watching other people suffer? Do you get a "warm fuzzy" when you see blood spurt from every orifice in a person's body? If so, Saw 2 is right up your alley!

I will get this out of the way - I enjoyed Saw 2. Now, does this mean I am all of those things described above? Yes.

No!

You do not need to be a twisted shell of a human to enjoy Saw 2, but what you do need to be is accepting of both mediocre filmmaking and psychological horror.

There is nothing innovative about Saw 2. In fact, it is essentially Saw all over again, minus the disgustingly bad acting job of Cary Elwes. This time, however, instead of two people being locked in a room, there are eight - and they're locked in an entire house.

We also get a much closer look at the serial killer Jigsaw this time around. Luckily, actor Tobin Bell gives the character a dark, intriguing personality. Jigsaw is easily the star of the show.

It is unfortunate, however, that his motives are that of all movie serial killers of late: he wants to teach the world a "lesson." C'mon Jigsaw, we've heard it all before. You can do better than that!
