About a week ago, before all the wonderful picnic tables were removed from campus, one table appeared on the third floor of Newell. It appeared over night without any witnesses. The table soon became a welcome member of the floor. Students congregated at it for meals, homework, and games. When compared to the aging, worn, stained, and damaged furniture currently in the new dorms, the picnic table was high class. However, all too soon, the Newell RA, threatened the floor with fines if they did not move the table. He claimed that the reason that it had to be removed was that, "it was a fire hazard" and "it was Clarkson property, so it had to remain outside." The students of Newell three determined that the only way to remove the table was to disassemble it. They reluctantly removed it from the floor later that evening.
