At the March 27 CUSA meeting, Kristin Stephenson was appointed to the vacant Class of 2007 Senator position.
Senator Groff, the Student Life Committee Chair, discussed a student's suggestion to not hold classes on the day of the Career Fair. He plans to work on a laundry contract and repairing the blue light phones.
The Investment Club's constitution was accepted by CUSA as per the recommendation of the Activities Committee. The Investment Club would help people invest their money, and also plans to ask alumni and guest speakers to come to Clarkson to discuss their portfolios and give advice.
It was noted that the housing lottery will take place on April 4 for current sophomores and April 5 for current freshmen. Rooms are still available in Ross and Brooks for freshmen who want to skip the lottery and reserve their rooms ahead of time.
Treasurer Snyder asked for $1000 to be moved from the capital expenditure budget to the circumstantial contingency budget, which was approved.
There will be a Senior Night at McDuff's Tavern every Thursday through Dead Week starting at 9:00 p.m. There will be a different theme each night, and all students of the legal drinking age are welcome, even if they are not in the Senior Class.
