Doublemint Gum has been a staple at the checkout counter since 1914. And, honestly, not that much has changed about the product since then (Doublemint twins actresses aside). Well, it only took 92 years, but Doublemint has come out with a new product that does not stray too far from the original: mints.
Doublemint Twins mints come in a very portable, fliptop container. True to the Twins name, the tiny, oval-shaped mints are available in two flavors: Mintcreme and Wintercreme. Both mints have a hint of vanilla and, to us at least, the peppermint and vanilla mixture leaves an almost anise (that would be licorice) flavor in our mouth. But the Mintcreme is definitely stronger than the Wintercreme, a wintergreen-based mint. The wintergreen combo with vanilla is slightly sweet, but still refreshing. Admittedly, we are partial to just about anything wintergreen, so the Wintercreme is definitely our favorite.
