Interview With McDuff's Famous Michael Jackson

You may know him as Billie Jean, Michael Jackson or a number of other names patrons of McDuffs have given him, but no matter what you know him as, you know who he is.
He is the man whose dance moves light up the dark basements of Potsdam. The music starts, the DJ makes room on the dance floor and then the boogieing begins. I had the honor of asking this local celebrity a few questions after one of his performances.
The first thing I learned is that his name is not Billie Jean as I was told, it is actually Nate Rheome. He is a 24 year old North Country native who dances simply because he likes it. Unlike many people, he does not need to be under the influence of alcohol to be a great dancer, he does not drink at all. When he is not showing off his moves, he likes a wide variety of things such as bowling, reading and surfing the web. He likes books by George Carlin and has met a number of celebrities including the Harlem Globetrotters and Jay Bush (the baked beans guy). His small stature is unmarred by any tattoos or piercings. He loves comedy in movies, TV, literature and even music.
If you think that his musical interests are limited to just Michael Jackson you are terribly mistaken. Nate's tastes run the gamut from Country to Rock. It should be no surprise to anyone who has witnessed one of his dance routines that his favorite song is Billie Jean.
