Clarkson professors have been making headlines as of late. Laura Ettinger's (top left) first book entitled Nurse-Midwifery: The Birth of a New American Profession was recently named an Outstanding Academic Title by Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries. Marc Compeau (top right) made his debut as a columnist for Forbes magazine on January 5. Thomas M. Holsen (bottom left) presented his findings on mercury hot spots in northeastern North America at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C on January 9. Philip K. Hopke (bottom right) was in the news for his ongoing research to find a link between airborne pollutants and respiratory illness.
