Winterfest will take place on Saturday, February 3, at Seven Springs. This annual event, brought to you by the Clarkson University Outing Club, brings Clarkson students together for a day outside at Clarkson's old ski hill. Although CUOC cannot promise snow, they do promise another good time with festivities for all. Just a few of the great activities included this year are: sledding (in a sled or kayak), tug-of-war, dig for cash, big air ski and snowboard competition, bike for cash, human dog sled, snowshoe run, homemade sled competition, and dash for cash. There will be prizes from Wear on Earth in addition to cash prizes. CUOC will have a free barbecue, hot chocolate, and a roaring bonfire, and music will be provided by WTSC, Clarkson's radio station. All students are welcome to come and participate in the activities, which start at 11:00 a.m. and go until dark. If you would like to participate in the homemade sled competition, bring the craziest sled made of whatever you can find that will bring the most number of people down the hill and across the finish line! The sky is the limit, so be creative!
