Goalie David Leggio had a season-high forty saves in Clarkson's victory against cross-town rival St. Lawrence. The final score for the game was 6-2, with the Knights scoring four goals early in the third period. Five different Golden Knights scored in the win with Matt Beca, pictured above, having his first collegiate two-goal game. The other Knights to score included Captain Nick Dodge, Tyrell Mason, Chris D'Alvise, and Shawn Weller. Saints goalie Alex Petizian had twenty-two saves in the loss and was later replaced by teammate Justin Pesony, who had two saves. The Golden Knights were outshot by the Saints 42-30. Clarkson finished the sweep of St. Lawrence in the regular season series, as they defeated the Saints 3-1 in the December match-up at Cheel Arena.
