Hey there, student body. Student Life Committee here again. Thank you for those that submitted suggestions and/or complaints. If something bothers you on campus and you have not yet complained, please drop a note in either the suggestion box outside of the library or outside of the Senate Office.
Two suggestions were made for an on campus theatre. It is a great suggestion and it will be brought up at the Monday night Senate meeting where plans for a new Student Center will be discussed. Another suggestion was to sell office supplies, another great suggestion, which will be addressed at the Senate meeting Monday. Please attend the meeting to support these suggestions and argue why they should be included in plans for a new Student Center.
There were two complaints were given. One was about course advisors that were not very helpful. This complaint is very hard to address because there is no background information such as major or department that the advisor is in.
The other complaint focused on the fact that there are limited career opportunities for majors that are not engineers at the career fair. Although this is true, jobs can be sought outside of the career fair and a large portion of students are engineers.
Thank you for all of your suggestions and complaints. Take into consideration that when making a complaint, as much information as possible should be given to help us analyze the problem. Along with that, please include possible solutions to the complaint that you make. Thank you again, and keep submitting suggestions and/or complaints.
