Hofler chosen as Rookie of the Week

Freshman Brendan Hofler (Glen Gardner, NJ) won two of the three races in which he was entered against St. Lawrence on Friday and his performance helped him come away with the Liberty League Rookie Swimmer of the Week award for the Clarkson University Swim team.
The Knights dropped the decision to St. Lawrence, 104-101, but Hofler claimed first place in both the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle races. He won the 200 freestyle in 1:55.15 and took first in the 500 freestyle in 5:14.09.
Clarkson returns to action next weekend when it hosts Oswego State on November 10 at the IRC.
