Men's B-ball wins exhibition match

The Clarkson University Men's Basketball team registered a 66-59 come-from-behind victory over Algonquin in an exhibition game Sunday afternoon.
Both teams surpassed 30 points in the first half. Shawn Lasalita came off the bench to score 10 points in the first half for the Golden Knights.
Clarkson trailed by as many as nine points early in the second half, but slowly came back to finally tie the game with just under six minutes remaining at 52-52. The teams teetered back and forth for the next five minutes with Algonquin taking a one-point lead with 1:08 left on Ankrah's jumper in the paint. A wide open 3-pointer by Keith Murray 14 seconds later gave Clarkson the lead for good as the Knights ended the game on a 10-2 run.
Elson Pickering added eight rebounds and three assists to his team-high 16 points. Ankrah finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Thunder and Marlon Campbell added 14 points.
