Ever wonder what your favorite athlete is like off the ice, off the field, or off the court? The time has come to know your Knights! This week we had the chance to sit down with three of the guys from the men's rugby team. Here is what Brian 'Molickher' Eseppi, Nick 'Krusty' LaPlant, and Brian 'Dice' Lewis-Clark ('BLC') all had to say:

Why did you get involved in rugby?
Brian: "I was recruited by several guys that were already on the team." Nick: "It doesn't stop and there's full contact." BLC: "I always wanted to play."

Are there any other sports you play?
B: "Broomball, indoor soccer, wiffle-beer." N: "Racquetball, indoor soccer, drink the beer." BLC: "Soccer, broomball, snowboarding." All: "Ye Olde Yards."

What is your favorite part about being a rugby player?
B: "Break-away from the line." N: "Scrumming." BLC: "Running with the ball and pressure."

What is your favorite memory of rugby?
B: "Zulu at Potsdam." N: "Out-scrumming Hamilton." BLC: "Chip and chase try."

What position do you play?
B: "Weak-side winger." N: "Hooker!!" BLC: "Fullback."

What is your hometown?
B: "West Hartland, CT." N: "Riptown, VT." BLC: "Syracuse, NY."

When are your birthdays?
B: "June 7, 1986." N: "July 21, 1986." BLC: "June 9, 1986."

What is your major?
B: "Structural Civil Engineering." N: "Civil Engineering with a minor in Business Technology." BLC: "Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration."

What is your favorite movie?
B: "Super Troopers." N: "Smokey and the Bandit." BLC: "Easy Rider."

What is your favorite song?
B: "'Days of the Week' by Mark Eves." N: "'Antarctica' by CURFC." BLC: "'I Don't Know What You Do' by Robert Randolph and the Family Band."

What is your favorite food?
B: "Veal Parmesan." N: "S'mores Pop Tarts." BLC: "Burritos."

What is the funniest pick up line that you have used, had used on you, or have heard?
B: "What's your favorite color of duct tape because you'll be wearing it all night long?" N: "'Can I buy you a drink or do you just want to skip to Plan B?' Girl - 'What's Plan B?' 'The morning after pill.'" BLC: "Boahhhhhhhh... Boooaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh… Booooaaaaahhh… That's the ambulance coming to take my heart away."

What is your favorite color?
Brian and BLC: "Blue." N: "I embrace the entire spectrum."

What is your favorite kind of car?
B: "A-Team's car." N: "Lotus Exige." BLC: "'67 Mustang Fastback."

What is the most embarrassing moment on or off the pitch?
B: "Zulu." N: "Freshmen year I threw the ball at a 45 degree angle-it needs to go in straight." BLC: "Getting fired by Father for being line judge."

What is the best thing to do on the weekends?
Brian and BLC: "Play rugby." N: "Me."

If there were one celebrity that you could go on a date with, who would it be, where would you go and what would you do?
N: "Do the Olsen Twins count as one person?" Brian and BLC: We can't top that.

If you could trade places with someone for one day, who would it be and why?
B: "Bode Miller." N: "Habana, because I would've just won the Rugby World Cup." BLC: "Shaq, because I want to dunk."

What is the best piece of advice you have received so far?
Brian and BLC: "'The ball comes up on the third bounce.'" N: "'Hey guys, pull your head out of your asses.' -Red Rocket."

What are your plans for after college?
B: "Make a break for Canada." N: "Retirement." BLC: "Get a job or move out West."

What is the best experience you have had at Clarkson?
All: "Rugby-all of it." B: "Holding a Phat Plux Rugby Tournament."

If the student body could know one thing about you that they don't already, what would it be?
All: "We're not that drunk! We're not that drunk! We're not that drunk!" B: "I'm Bond, James Bond." BLC: "Despite our reputation, I do not have a felony."
