Residents found in possession of a paint-ball gun stored inside their residence hall room. Paint ball gun confiscated. Disciplinary action to follow.

An ARAMARK employee slipped and fell on a snow and ice covered sidewalk causing no injuries, only soreness. CU Grounds on scene to sand and salt. Case closed.

Residents were found storing flammable materials inside the building. Residents ordered to remove materials to an appropriate storage location. Case open.

Criminal mischief
Riverside Apartments
Person(s) unknown had damaged the rear door and door frame by kicking at the door. Case open.

Moore House
Resident Life Staff reported two resident students covering their room smoke detector with a knit cap. Students advised and may face disciplinary action/fines. Pending.

Falsely reporting an incident
Fire alarm
Woodstock Village
Person(s) unknown discharged a fire extinguisher inside the stairwell of building 3B for no legitimate reason, activating the fire alarm. Potsdam Volunteer Fire Dept., PPD, and Safety & Security all responded to scene. Case open.

Safety & Security along with Maintenance responded to Fire Troubles caused by dampness in detectors and system problems. Maintenance on scene to repair.

Safety & Security advised a resident student that his vehicle sustained damage to the hood from a fallen tree branch caused by high winds.

Person(s) unknown, sometime overnight on 1/07 to 1/08, had busted a fourth floor window and discharged a chemical fire extinguisher in the hallway for no legitimate reason. Case open.
