CU smashes RPI on and off the ice

The brothers obtained an old car from the junkyard and had it towed in front of the Cheel Area Entrance for a Car Smash. They spray painted it with RPI colors, some bulls eyes, and a few taunting words like "RPI sucks" and "safety school." They then let people go to town on the car with a big sledge hammer. The windows were knocked out beforehand for safety. All participants were required to wear safety goggles and sign a release wavier just in case.
President Tony Collins started it off at 4:00 p.m. with some solid hits to the doors and hood. Collins was happy to show a little muscle and make sure RPI's car was in worse condition then when it got there. After that, at $1.00 for 1 hit and $5.00 for 7 hits, Clarkson fans showed their school spirit with a sledge hammer to let RPI know just how they felt about them. The Car Smash ran until 8:00 p.m. and by the end, the car looked as though it had just gone through a meteor storm.
Despite the cold weather, the Car Smash rasied $200 and all the money raised from the event will be donated by Sigma Chi to the Children's Miracle Network. The brothers plan to hold the event again next semester in the hope that warmer weather will attract more students and raise more money for the Children's Miracle Network.

Glad to be of service to The Children's Miracle Network, simply by fueling Clarkson-ite jealousy :-)
