After being out played at home on Friday night, the Lady Knights traveled Saturday night to play their rival in the second half of a home and home series. Through a hard fought effort the Knights were able to leave Appleton Arena with a point as they tied the sixth ranked St. Lawrence Saints 2-2. With the point the Knights' record is now 18-6-4, 9-5-2 in conference, which is good enough to leave them tied for third in the ECAC standings.

The game started out very similar to Friday's contest as St. Lawrence was able to jump out to an early lead when forward Lisa Batchelor beat freshman goaltender Lauren Dahm three minutes into the opening frame. The Knights battled back, however, as senior center Brooke Beazer put the Marie-Jo Guadet pass in the back of the net three minutes later to tie the game at one. The goal was Beazer's fourth of the season.

The Saints' rough style of play would get them in trouble, as they gave the Knights eleven power plays in the game. Clarkson was able to cash in on only one of the man advantages. The power play goal came late in the first period when sophomore center Britney Selina was able to slip the pass from Genevieve Lavoie between the St. Lawrence goaltender's pads. The goal was Selina's fourteenth of the year and, was her second of the weekend, and gave the Knights the lead. Junior Kimberly McKenney also earned an assist on the play.

A penalty-filled second period gave the Knights a chance to increase their lead. The Knights had five power plays in the second period, including over five minutes with a two man advantage. Clarkson was able to put the pressure on, outshooting St. Lawrence 16-5, but was unable to score.

The Knights kept the lead until midway through the third when St. Lawrence's Karell Emard was able to poke the puck free from under Dahm and into the back of the net. The Saints had a great opportunity to pull out the win as they received a power play with a little over two minutes left in the third, Dahm held tough and closed out the period and overtime to earn her team the point.

The Knights outshot St. Lawrence 34-28 in the game. Dahm finished the game with twenty-six saves in her tenth start of the season. The Lady Knights travel to central NY next week to play Colgate and Cornell.
