A choice

Why can't you tell me how you feel
Please for once tell me something real
Will you say your heart beats just for me
Or say instead it doesn't and set me free
This in between has to stop
Let me know before I pop
I used to hold you in my heart
But now I think its time for us to part
I do not like the way you act
So turn away and don't look back
If you turn to look at me again
I fear I may not let this end
The choice now stands for me to decide
Where my loyalties now reside
With my friend with whom you fight
Or with you that I dream of at night
I used to love you then you cut me deep
I think it is with my friends I will keep
