The participation was astounding; over $200 and vast amounts of microwavable foods, drink mixes, magazines, toiletries, and various items were donated. A generous donation was also received from F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team 229 from Clarkson University, Massena High School, and Salmon River Central School. It consisted of many individually wrapped sets of stationary, writing utensils, cameras, and picture frames, allowing the soldiers to keep in touch with loved ones.
Overall, twenty-five packages were constructed, complete with personalized letters and greeting cards to salute the soldiers. The packages were sent to various needy locations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Members of Circle K and Alpha Chi Rho would like to thank the community of Potsdam for such generosity in helping to support this cause.
