Being from Vermont, it was only a matter of time before I started reviewing some of the many beers that hail from Vermont. This week's comes from one of my favorite brewing companies, Long Trail. This particular beer, the Harvest Ale, is one of their Fall seasonal brews.

The student wellness outreach office?

For those who don't already know, Dan Davis is the Wellness Outreach Coordinator for Clarkson University. His office is located on the upper floor of Cheel, in room 217 (Hint: Look for the "keys!"). The 2008-2009 school year starts off Dan's second year in this position.

Greek: Delta Phi Sigma

Delta Sigma Phi, Karma fraternity, was accepted into the Greek system at Clarkson University on January 14, 1930. Delta Sig is the fourth oldest fraternity at CU. Today you can find nine of the brothers living together at 42 Bay Street. Although the chapter house is located at 20 Pleasant Street, it has endured two house fires throughout the years and is currently uninhabitable.

First physics exam
The crowd of Clarkson freshman engineers gathered from the Pit and the Quad, marching with the background music "Death March" (Star Wars) towards the deadly grey building of science under the bloody red of sunset. What waits ahead of them in the concrete building is their first "life" challenge of their college career.

Greek advantage

The purpose of a fraternity is to cultivate character based leadership while maintaining a strong brotherhood. Greek organizations are not only active during the academic school year; many of them have strong national or international headquarters and provide fraternal conferences for both undergraduate and alumni brothers.
